Tendrils Web - Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Our Commitment to Child Safety

Tendrils Web is committed to maintaining a safe environment and protecting children from all forms of abuse and exploitation. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform.

Definitions

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

CSAE refers to child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Grooming a child for sexual exploitation
  • Sextorting a child
  • Trafficking of a child for sex
  • Otherwise sexually exploiting a child
  • Any content or behavior that endangers or sexually exploits minors

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

CSAM consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on our platform.

Our Standards and Policies

1. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on Tendrils Web:

  • Any form of CSAM content
  • Content that sexualizes or exploits children
  • Solicitation of children for sexual purposes
  • Grooming behavior targeting minors
  • Distribution, sharing, or possession of CSAM
  • Any content promoting or glorifying child exploitation
  • Content that facilitates child trafficking or exploitation

2. Proactive Measures

Tendrils Web implements the following measures to combat CSAE:

  • Regular monitoring and review of user-generated content
  • Use of detection technologies to identify potential CSAM
  • Staff training on child safety protocols and CSAE identification
  • Age verification mechanisms where applicable
  • Collaboration with law enforcement and child safety organizations

3. Reporting and Response

We encourage users to report any content or behavior that violates our child safety standards. Users can report concerns through our in-app reporting mechanism available on every page.

When we receive a report of CSAE or CSAM, we will:

  • Immediately investigate the reported content or behavior
  • Remove any confirmed CSAM content immediately upon discovery
  • Permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM
  • Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Preserve evidence for law enforcement investigation
  • Take appropriate legal action as necessary

4. Compliance with Laws

Tendrils Web complies with all applicable child protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  • The PROTECT Act
  • Applicable state and international child protection laws
  • Requirements to report CSAM to NCMEC and law enforcement

5. User Responsibilities

All users of Tendrils Web must:

  • Refrain from posting, sharing, or distributing any CSAE or CSAM content
  • Report any suspected CSAE or CSAM immediately
  • Not engage in any behavior that could endanger or exploit children
  • Respect age restrictions and community guidelines

How to Report

If you encounter any content or behavior on Tendrils Web that violates these child safety standards, please report it immediately through one of the following methods:

  • In-App Reporting: Use the "Report" button available throughout the application

  • Emergency: Contact local law enforcement or call the CyberTipline at 1-800-843-5678

All reports are reviewed promptly, and we take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.

Policy Updates

These standards may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, best practices, or our services. The current version is effective as of January 29, 2026.


These child safety standards apply to all users of Tendrils Web regardless of age or geographic location. Violations of these standards may result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and legal action. We are committed to cooperating fully with law enforcement investigations involving child safety.
